We can say that video game is a computer science program, created for people entertainment, based on the interaction between one or several people and an electronic device which executes this video game. In many cases, these recreate virtual environment and situations in which the player can control to one or several personages (or any other element of this environment), to obtain one or several objectives following many rules. Video games can be executed in electronic equipment of general use, like the cellular telephones, equipment of specific use (video game consoles) or in equipment designed or thought with other intentions, not to play but that they have display and controls to interact with video games (like digital cameras).
We can classify video games consoles in: tablecloth, family writing-desk (Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Wii, PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox), or portable (Gameboy, Nintendo DS, Play Portable Station).
Video games supports the same storage medias that any other type of software, but some video games include also their own storage devices (portable consoles cartridges with movement sensors exist or in older consoles the cartridges have the space to keep the played games).
